New Playing Formats
Format One |
Here the 53-47 over split remains, but with bowling restrictions: no one bowler can bowl more than 15 overs in a match - ECB young person fast bowling restrictions are still in place and take precedence.

Format Two |
This sees the biggest change, matches are of 50 overs duration with no bowler allowed to bowl more than 10 overs - ECB young persons fast bowling restrictions are still in place and take precedence.
• Fielding restrictions are to be incorporated, 30 yards from the wicket at each end • Lines, 17 inches from the outside of the off stump, are used to signal a wide ball • A new ball will be used at start of each innings • Rain affected matches will be calculated using a formula |
