The Hertfordshire League
New Playing Formats

Format One

Here the 53-47 over split remains, but with bowling restrictions: no one bowler can bowl more than 15 overs in a match - ECB young person fast bowling restrictions are still in place and take precedence.

Format Two

This sees the biggest change, matches are of 50 overs duration with no bowler allowed to bowl more than 10 overs - ECB young persons fast bowling restrictions are still in place and take precedence.

•  Fielding restrictions are to be incorporated, 30 yards from the wicket at each end
•  Lines, 17 inches from the outside of the off stump, are used to signal a wide ball
•  A new ball will be used at start of each innings
•  Rain affected matches will be calculated using a formula
